Join the more than 250,000 craft enthusiasts from across the nation that will soon be making their way to northwest Arkansas to attend arts and craft fairs across the region. Top artists and craftsmen from all over the United States come to northwest Arkansas to show and sell their hand-made wares in the renowned craft fairs held each May and October. It's the perfect time of year to start shopping for holiday gifts and decorations, plus enjoy the scenic drive around northwest Arkansas, which is why assignment #11 in the 100 Things To Do in Rogers series is getting crafty at the local craft fairs!

Hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the nation will be shopping for hand-made
 pottery and quilts, stained glass, baskets, jewelry, artwork, handspun sugary treats, home decor (the list can go on and on!), while meeting and sometimes watching the artisans at work. Spread throughout Northwest Arkansas, what's historically known as the "War Eagle Weekend" includes numerous arts & crafts fairs. The fairs are open rain or shine! War Eagle Mill Arts and Crafts Fair

Oct. 17-20
6:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Location: 11045 War Eagle Rd., Rogers

War Eagle Mill

While visiting the craft fair at War Eagle, be sure to take a break from shopping and watch the mill near the historic War Eagle Bridge. Browse the gift shop for crafts, baskets, Arkansas jams and jellies and stone-ground whole grain meals and mixes.
