Craft beer is all the rage these days with breweries popping up all over the place. This trend is definitely one I can get behind, which is why your next assignment in the 100 Things To Do in Rogers series is visiting Ozark Beer Co. in downtown Rogers.
What is Ozark Beer Co.
Ozark Beer Co. is Rogers' first local craft beer brewery, thanks to the fine people who voted to make Benton County a wet county in 2012. The brewery and tasting room is located in the downtown area on First St. You can read all about how Ozark Beer got its start here (it's worth the read!) We have visited a few times since we discovered this little gem... and made sure to go back for "market research" ahead of writing this post. It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it. The tasting room is an large industrial space filled with mis-matched tables and a garage door that is kept open on nice days... making it a great place to hang out with friends. You can sample beer while sitting next to huge stainless steel tanks where the next batch of beer is fermenting. Music fills the air while visitors talk, play cards and enjoy a pint of their favorite brew. That's a pretty good weekend in my book.
Drinking Ozark Beer Co.
Even if you haven't had a chance to visit the brewery yet, you've probably noticed their beer at your favorite watering hole. You can find Ozark Beer on tap in 35 bars around northwest Arkansas. That says a lot about the quality of their beer since they just opened a few months ago. Plus, they are going to begin canning in a couple of weeks, so you'll be able to find them in select liquor stores as well. You can use their handy "beer finder" tool so you can enjoy a pint with your next meal. Now onto what I'm sure you all want to know about... BEER. Here's an overview of what's currently on tap in their tasting room.

Other Places to Grab a Pint in Rogers
There are a few places in the downtown area that focus on craft beers and have several on tap. If you're looking to grab a pint of Ozark or even try out other northwest Arkansas craft beers, then head to The Rail Pizza Company or Club Frisco. The Rail has some of the best pizza around and a great patio so you can enjoy the upcoming spring weather. Club Frisco is for the late-night crowd, opening at 4pm during the week and 5pm on Saturday, which means you can head on over there after the tasting room at Ozark closes for the evening at 7pm. Brick Street Brews will also be opening its doors soon on Walnut St. in Rogers, giving residents more options to drink local and support local businesses.
